Position Summary

American Screening Corporation (ASC) is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and results-driven Senior Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a proven history of generating new business, developing long-term customer relationships, and consistently exceeding aggressive sales goals.  This role offers a competative commission!  

The ideal candidate is highly competitive, self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses exceptional communication and closing skills. This individual will be responsible for prospecting new business, managing existing accounts, generating recurring revenue, increasing customer retention, and growing sales through consultative selling.

Success in this role requires discipline, urgency, accountability, and a relentless commitment to providing outstanding customer service while achieving measurable performance metrics.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, lead follow-up, and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Manage assigned customer accounts while identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Conduct proactive client outreach and relationship-building activities.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Generate daily reorder business from existing customers.
  • Present ASC products and services using a consultative sales approach.
  • Promote laboratory confirmation services, background screening solutions, and value-added services.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation after every customer interaction.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, Shipping, and Finance to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, product updates, and competitive offerings.
  • Consistently meet or exceed all sales goals, KPIs, and revenue expectations.
Primary Objectives

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, cold calling, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Contact prospective and existing customers to identify their product and service needs.
  • Recommend products and solutions that best meet customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate the features, benefits, and value of ASC products and services.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and relationship management.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with existing customers regarding new products, promotions, and service enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction after each sale.
  • Guide new customers through the onboarding process and provide an exceptional first experience.
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, calls, appointments, orders, opportunities, lost business, and customer interactions.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Activity Performance Metrics (KPIs)

Prospecting & Sales Activity

  • 250 outbound call attempts per day
  • 300 minutes of talk time per day
  • 300 proactive client check-ins per week
  • 20 customer reorders per day
  • 85% or more of all new leads contacted within five (5) minutes
  • 5 qualified appointments scheduled per day
  • 75 upsell or cross-sell opportunities identified each week
  • 15 outbound calls each week promoting laboratory confirmation and background screening services
  • 100% of CRM records updated daily with notes, status changes, and next steps
  • 100% of new clients onboarded within 48 hours
  • 100% follow-up on open customer issues within 24 hours
  • Response time to all customer inquiries within one business day
Results Performance Metrics

  • 15 scheduled sales meetings per week following successful completion of the 90-day introductory period
  • At least 60% of scheduled meetings qualify as legitimate sales opportunities
  • Maintain a 90% customer retention rate
  • Convert 80% of qualified upsell opportunities into additional revenue
  • Generate a minimum of 10 laboratory confirmation or background screening accounts per month
  • Generate at least $5,000 per month in upsell and cross-sell revenue
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quotas established by management
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience (medical, healthcare, laboratory, safety, industrial, or related industries preferred)
  • Proven history of consistently exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional phone presence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving and customer relationship skills
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling medical products
  • Experience selling laboratory services
  • Experience selling background screening services
  • Experience with NetSuite and HubSpot
  • Experience working in a high-volume outbound sales environment
